卡爾加里動物園內。辛笛兒走過歐亞區、自然保護區、澳洲區、非洲區、加拿大野生動物區，最后朝大型哺乳動物區走去，可見老虎、猩猩、美洲豹等動物。

    辛笛兒抬頭，看見杰克出現在側前方，急待離去。

    老肥姐和老瘦哥和旅行團的人正走進大象館。辛笛兒上去，隨他們走進大象館。

    動物園大象館內。大象棲息處，兩名男飼養員在給幾頭大象喂食。一頭雌大象躺在一邊，它的頭邊放著一個大水盆，一名男飼養員拿著一把大刷子和一根自來水管在為它洗澡。

    觀眾廳里，一名講解員(雪麗)在為游客講解。

    雪麗：Wele to our Elephant Crossing, Calgary Zoo. My name is Sherry. (歡迎來到我們卡爾加里動物園的大象走廊。我叫雪麗。)

    老肥姐上前跟雪麗握手：Hi, Sherry. My name is FatJane. (你好，雪麗。我的名字叫肥姐。)

    老瘦哥擠上前：My name is ShawGore. (我的名字叫瘦哥。)

    雪麗跟老肥姐和老瘦哥握手：o meet you. (見到你們很高興。)(繼續講解：)Look at that elephant in bath. Do you know she is the adarsquo;s Most Famous Animal (看那頭正在洗澡的大象。你們知道她是加拿大最著名的動物rdquo;嗎？)

    老肥姐：I know. She is a singer. (我知道，她是一個歌唱家。)

    洗澡的雌大象抬頭喊了一聲。另一頭吃食的雄大象將長鼻子伸進水盆，吸起水朝觀眾廳這邊噴水。

    眾游客紛紛鼓掌拍照。雪麗朝老肥姐笑了笑，繼續講解。

    雪麗：Actually, this is the first time that I know Kamala is a singer. Yes, her name is Kamala, which means \quot;Lotus Flower.\quot; Before she came to ada and became famous, Kamala had a sad story. She was born in Sri Lanka\'s Yala National Park in 1975. She became an orphaned about three months after her birth and was found in an abandoned well. Through a cooperative effort with the Sri Lankan gover, Kamala, and two other Asian elephants orphaned around same time, were brought to Calgary Zoo in 1976. In 1986 and 1990, she gave birth to her two children da and Maharani hellip;(其實，這是我第一次知道卡瑪拉是一個歌唱家。對了，她的名字叫卡瑪拉，意思是荷花rdquo;。在他來到加拿大成名之前，她有一個悲傷的故事。1975年她出生在斯里蘭卡的亞拉國家公園里，但是，三個月后就成了孤兒，被人發現掉進了一口廢井里。1976年，在斯里蘭卡政府的協助下，卡瑪拉和另外兩頭孤兒大象來到了卡爾加里的動物園。此后在1986年和1990年，卡瑪拉生下了兩個孩子：暢達和馬哈拉尼hellip;hellip;)

    游客甲大聲：Because she gave birth to two bay elephants in ada! (因為它為加拿大生了兩頭小象！)

    老瘦哥：原來是英雄母親rdquo;??！

    老肥姐瞪了老瘦哥一眼：是，是什么??？不生孩子就不英雄啦？I donrsquo;t think so! (我認為不是這樣！)

    雪麗笑：Okay, wersquo;ll know the answer soon. Please look at these pictures on the walls. (好，我們馬上就知道答案了。請看墻上的畫。)

    鏡頭移到墻上的畫。辛笛兒抬頭端詳著。

    雪麗：You may think they are just baby drawings. But they arenrsquo;thellip;(你們可能會認為這是嬰兒畫，但其實不是hellip;hellip;)

    老肥姐：They are Kamalarsquo;s pieces of work! (這是卡瑪拉的大作！)

    雪麗：Oh, Jane. You won! (噢，簡，你贏了。)

    雪麗從口袋中拿出一打明信片來，挑出三張不同的遞給老肥姐，然后將剩下的分給其他游客們。老肥姐將手中的三張明信片舉在手里，又蹦又跳。

    老肥姐對卡瑪拉飛吻：I love you, Kamala. (我愛你，卡瑪拉！)

    這時，卡瑪拉洗完澡，站起，往一間大房間走去。男飼養員收拾工具，跟在候面。

    辛笛兒在眾游客背后。雪麗分發明信片，輪到辛笛兒時，手中只剩下半張卡片。辛笛兒看著雪麗手中的半張卡片，怔了怔，馬上醒悟過來，從皮包里掏出她那半張卡片。

    雪麗從辛笛兒手中接過那半張卡片，跟她自己手中的卡片對在一起，成了一張完整的卡瑪拉的畫《水草中的魚》(Fish in the Weeds)。

    辛笛兒回頭，杰克正走進大象館的門。杰克看見辛笛兒，邁步朝這邊走來。雪麗忙將卡片放進口袋。

    游客甲： we watch Kamala when she is painting (我們能看卡瑪拉畫畫嗎？)

    雪麗神色焦急，強裝笑臉：We rsquo;t tell Kamala to paint. Everything is up to her. Unfortunately, Kamala doesnrsquo;t seem in the mood for painting at the moment. I am sorry for that. (我們不能叫卡瑪拉畫畫。任何事都是隨她的心意。不巧的是，現在卡瑪拉好像沒有心情作畫。非常抱歉。)

    一扇門打開，男飼養員跑出。

    男飼養員驚喜：Sherry, Kamala wants to paint! (雪麗，卡瑪拉想畫畫了！)

    雪麗舒了口氣，將辛笛兒推到男飼養員面前：Go with him! (跟他走！)

    杰克擠上前，想追上辛笛兒。

    雪麗將杰克攔?。篠orry, sir! Only one of uests is allowed in Kamalarsquo;s studio so that she is not distracted while w. The rest of us, please e with me to the TV room. Wersquo;ll watch Kamalarsquo;s painting through CCTV. (對不起，先生！卡瑪拉的畫室只允許我們的一位客人進去，為的是不干擾她的工作。其他人請跟我到電視房，通過閉路電視觀看卡瑪拉畫畫。)
